Barnie Beasley wanted to help students like himself, who had a dream to attend the University of Georgia but couldn’t necessarily afford it without financial support.  He and his wife Carla realized that desire when they created the Barnie and Carla Beasley Scholarship for Engineering Excellence.  Barnie tells his inspiring story in this video, and Myddie Parker, the 2020-21 recipient of the scholarship, shares the impact that the scholarship has had on her life.
